Michi Hartmann and Valerie Renay love sounds and experiments, building objects, pulling faders, sounds, harmony and dissonance, groove and spherical sounds. Together they create fascinating sound worlds, analogue and digital, with and without voices.

Michi Hartmann is an artist, singer, and composer from Berlin. She studied design at UDK Berlin and art at Akademia Sztuk Pieknych Warszawa. She builds e-guitars and writes her own songs and lyrics. Hartmann enjoys bringing people together from different countries. Her original instrument, the IRONBASS, is central to her improvised songs and sessions.

The IRONBASS is a steel plate bent into a halfpipe with a double bass string and a metal rail fingerboard, producing rich reverb and harmonic possibilities for jam sessions.

Valerie Renay, a Berlin-based French-Caribbean artist, creates music and performances exploring emotional depth, blending sonic exploration, performance art, and theatre to unveil a soothing darkness.
