Danai Vritsiou, a concert and collaborative pianist from Greece, is based in Berlin. She studied in Athens with Stavros Kollias and later at the Academy of Music and Theatre in Munich under Professor Yasuko Matsuda, earning a Master’s degree focused on Robert Schumann’s piano works (1830–1838). Her studies also included dance accompaniment, Musicology at Ludwig Maximilians University, Music Pedagogy at the University of Athens, and singing and contrabass. Supported by a grant from the Richard Wagner Verband, she has given numerous solo and chamber concerts, performed with the Athens Sinfonietta and Athenian Youth Symphony Orchestra, and worked with singers, dancers, and filmmakers. She is also active in contemporary music, premiering works by emerging composers.
Konstantine Margaritis, a Greek classical guitarist and composer based in Berlin, trained at the National School of Music in Greece and received the Paul Simon Scholarship at Berklee College of Music. A recipient of Goethe Institute and German Federal cultural scholarships, he has released ten albums and performed at venues such as Berlin’s Radialsystem and Georg Neumann Saal. His recordings, including Ithaki, A Quiet Place, and The Music of the Impressionists, highlight his range, while his piano suite Three Night Figments showcases his evocative compositional style.
