Histoire du Tango presents a program dedicated to the evolution of Argentine tango, from its traditional roots to tango nuevo. The concert traces the stylistic and emotional development of the genre through works ranging from early tango to the innovative language of Astor Piazzolla.

Le Duo – Ljubica Damčević (violin & voice) and Nikola Vidojević (piano) – is a chamber ensemble from Belgrade, Serbia. Both musicians are classically trained and focus on repertoire that extends beyond stylistic boundaries, combining classical tradition with contemporary, film, world, jazz, and popular music influences.

Since its formation in 2023, Le Duo has performed throughout Serbia and internationally in Germany, France, Italy, Malta, Montenegro, and Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The program features works by Astor Piazzolla, Aníbal Troilo, Juan Carlos Cobián, Aquiles Roggero, Ángel Cabral, and other composers associated with the tango tradition, presenting a broad view of the genre’s development and expressive range.

The concert offers an intimate performance format and a focused selection of repertoire, aimed at highlighting the contrast between traditional tango and its modern transformations.
