Barbora Sára is a vocal artist, singer and composer oscillating between her native Opava and the world-famous Berlin. She has played around thirty solo concerts in the Czech Republic, Berlin and its surroundings and is currently working on completing her debut album recorded in a Polish studio in the mountains.Although she has been involved in music since early childhood and has achieved success in singing (winner of CzechTalent 2014) and dancing (Demokracie v Americe –⁠⁠⁠⁠⁠⁠ Romeo Castellucci, National Theatre in Prague), she considers the real beginning of her artistic solo career to be 2017, when she composed her first song and lyrics on the guitar.

Barbora Sára’s music has a purely organic sound, based on the unlimited possibilities of her elastic and completely leading voice, which dominates in tender and at the same time emotionally dynamic compositions. She works with sound with intuitive sensitivity and, together with expressive, sincere lyrics, materializes her thoughts, which create a dense atmosphere for a deep experience. The vocal artist performs with her own compositions sung in the Silesian dialect, English and in her own improvised language accompanied by piano, looper or guitar.

The music itself penetrates to the core of the being and is characterized by emphasized emotionality, crossing traditional genre boundaries, receiving strong impulses from human destinies and connecting poetic thoughts. She herself finds herself in constant movement and change, and such is the musical expression of Barbora Sára, surprising and eclectic.
